A cookie is a small file a website stores in your browser. Local and session storage do a similar job without being sent to our servers. This is everything QikTools stores:
| Name | Type | Why | How long |
|---|---|---|---|
| sb-…-auth-token (and numbered parts) | Essential cookie | Keeps you signed in securely. Set by our sign-in provider on our own domain. It also carries the language saved with your account, which we read, with no extra request, to open the site in it on a browser where you haven’t picked one. | Until you sign out, or the session expires |
| Cloudflare Turnstile | Essential (sign-up, trial, report and property-enquiry forms) | Checks that a person, not a bot, is using the form. Runs in a frame from Cloudflare, which may use its own cookies or storage. | Short-lived, set by Cloudflare |
| __cf_bm (on supabase.co) | Essential security cookie, set by Cloudflare for our database and file-storage provider | Set by Cloudflare’s bot protection when your browser fetches a picture or video from our file storage (for example on a property page or a share link) or, when you’re signed in, talks to our database. It tells people from bots; it isn’t used to track you. | 30 minutes |
| Razorpay checkout | Essential (only when you pay in Indian rupees) | Razorpay’s payment window opens in a frame from Razorpay when you pay in rupees. Razorpay may use its own cookies or storage there, to process the payment and check for fraud. | Set by Razorpay, under its own policy |
| qs_… (password-protected share and review links) | Essential cookie | Remembers that you entered the right password for a shared file link or a client review link, so you don't have to type it again. | 12 hours, or until the owner changes the password |
| qtcp_… (agency client portals) | Essential cookie | Keeps a client of an agency signed in to that agency's review portal after they entered the one-time code we emailed them. Set only on the portal's own address and only after signing in; scripts on the page can't read it. | Up to 7 days, or until you sign out |
| qt_adloop_oauth, qt_adloop_pkce | Essential cookie | Set only while you connect an ad account in the Winning Ads Loop (when connections are switched on). They let us check that the sign-in coming back from the ad platform is the one you started. Sent only to our connection address, and cleared when the connection finishes. | 10 minutes at most |
| qt_dub_oauth, qt_dub_pkce | Essential cookie | The same, for connecting a YouTube channel in Video Dubbing Autopilot (when channel connections are switched on). | 10 minutes at most |
| qt_currency | Preference cookie | Remembers whether you chose to see prices in US dollars or Indian rupees, so the pricing page and checkout use the same currency. Set only when you choose a currency; when you’re signed in, the choice is also saved to your account. | 1 year (renewed each time you choose) |
| qt-locale | Preference cookie | Remembers the language you picked in the language menu, so the site opens in it next time. Set only when you pick a language: looking at a page in another language, or opening a link to one, saves nothing. When you’re signed in, the choice is also saved to your account, so a browser you sign in on that has no language of its own opens in it. | 1 year (renewed each time you choose) |
| qiktools-theme-mode | Local storage | Remembers whether you chose the light, dark or automatic theme. | Until you clear your browser data |
| qt:orchestrator:draft:… | Local storage | Keeps what you typed in the Campaign Orchestrator’s launch form, so a refresh doesn’t lose it. | Until you launch or clear the form |
| qiktools.filmEditor.view.v2 (with your account ID after it when you’re signed in; an older qiktools.filmEditor.view.v1 is only read) | Local storage | Remembers how you set up the Movie Director’s film editor: timeline zoom and height, snapping (also to the beat), track sizes, the side panel’s size and whether it is open, safe-area guides and whether the view follows playback. | Until you clear your browser data |
| qiktools.recentFonts.v1 | Local storage | The font menu, in the Design Studio and wherever else QikTools offers one: the last few fonts you picked (up to eight; for a font you added to a Brand Kit, its ID), so “Recently used” can show them first. It stays on this device and is never sent to us. | Until you clear your browser data |
| qiktools:proposal-from | Local storage | Proposal & Slide Deck Generator: the sender details you typed under “You and your client” (name, company, address, email, phone, website and tax number), so your next proposal starts with them. This copy stays on this device; the details reach us only inside the proposal you are working on, which is saved to your account. | Until you clear your browser data |
| qiktools-film-media | Browser file storage (private file system or IndexedDB) | Movie Director: the video, audio and picture files you import into a film project are kept in your own browser, on your device, rather than on our servers. | Until you remove the file or clear your browser data |
| qiktools:clipper-analyses:v1, qiktools:film-steps:v1, qiktools:scene-starts:v1, qiktools:voice-passes:v1 | Local storage | Video Clipper and Movie Director: for each paid step you start, your browser remembers the step’s reference number and what it belongs to (for the Clipper, also the video’s name and size), so that if the page reloads or the tab closes before the answer arrives, the finished result is picked up and you are never charged twice. Removed when the answer arrives. | Until the answer arrives; anything older than a day (four minutes for a Movie Director render start) is ignored |
| qiktools:munns:v1 | Session storage | Keeps your conversation with Munns, the help assistant, while you move between pages. | Until you close the tab |
| qt-site-notice-hidden | Session storage | When we show a one-line notice at the top of every page (for example planned maintenance) and you close it, remembers that you did, so it stays hidden for the rest of your visit. A new notice shows again. | Until you close the tab |
| qiktools:compliance:asset-selection | Session storage | Carries the files you picked in your Library over to a Compliance Report. Removed as soon as the report page reads it. | Until the report page opens, or you close the tab |
| qt-reviewer | Local storage | On a client review page: remembers the name, and the email if you gave one, that you typed on this device, so you needn’t type them again. They reach us only with a comment or decision. | Until you clear your browser data |
| qt-free-ad-draft-v1 | Local storage | Keeps what you filled in for the free first ad (product details and script choices), so a refresh doesn’t lose it. | Until you start the ad, or clear your browser data |
| qt-re-agent | Local storage | Real Estate Listing Studio: the agent details you chose to remember on this device (name, title, phone, email, website, brokerage and licence or registration numbers), so new listings start with them. | Until you clear your browser data |
| qt-transcript-mode:… | Local storage | Your choice between a Quick and a Detailed transcript, in each tool that offers both. | Until you clear your browser data |
| qt-auto-privacy | Local storage | Auto (best value): whether you chose to use only providers that don’t train on your content. | Until you change it or clear your browser data |
| qt-brand-engine-draft, qt-brand-engine-onboarding-step | Session storage | Keeps what you typed in a Personal Brand Engine session and your place in its setup, in this tab. | Until you close the tab |
| qt-agency-setup-hidden:… | Local storage | Agency workspaces: remembers that you hid the setup checklist on this device. | Until you clear your browser data |
| __Host-qt-keys-unlock | Essential cookie (QikTools staff only) | Set only for the QikTools staff who run the Service, after an extra security check, to open the Admin area’s protected settings for a short time. Scripts on the page can’t read it, and it is sent only to our own site. | 30 minutes at most |
| qt-mail-signature | Local storage (QikTools staff only) | The Admin area’s email composer: the sign-off a staff member typed for the emails they send from there, so they needn’t type it again. | Until they clear their browser data |
| qt:… and qt.… (other short hand-offs) | Session storage | Carries your work from one tool to another when you choose to, for example a brief you send to another tool or a corrected prompt from Brand Guardian. Removed once the other tool has read it. | Until you close the tab |
Some tools load code or files from other services when you use them: the on-device face detection that the Video Clipper, the AI Video Translator (to find where lip-sync applies) and the Real Estate Listing Studio (to blur faces) use (Google and jsDelivr), the Reel Maker’s in-browser video engine (from our own servers; unpkg only as a backup if that copy can’t be loaded), the Google Drive and Dropbox file pickers in Video Dubbing Autopilot (Google and Dropbox, only when you choose a file from there) and the 3D Product Studio’s viewer (Google, which serves decoders some models need; on Android, “View in your room” opens Google’s Scene Viewer, which downloads the 3D file). Talking to Munns out loud connects your browser straight to OpenAI, to stream your voice. Paying in Indian rupees loads Razorpay’s checkout. Paying in US dollars takes you to the checkout page of Dodo Payments, our payment partner, which uses its own cookies under its own policy. A film page may show a trailer its maker keeps on YouTube or Vimeo: the page shows its own picture and loads nothing from either until you press play, and then loads that service’s player (YouTube’s privacy-enhanced mode, Vimeo with “do not track” on), which may set its own cookies. Pictures and videos in your results, on property pages and behind share links are fetched from where they are stored: our file storage (Supabase) or our AI provider’s file server (fal), which sets no cookies. “Continue with Google” or “Continue with Microsoft” sign-in, and connecting a YouTube channel or an ad account, takes you to that company. These requests share your IP address with those services, but we don’t use them to track you. They are listed on the Third-Party Processors page.
Fonts are not on this list: every font on QikTools’ own pages, including the font library, is served from our own servers, so your browser never contacts Google Fonts or any other font service for them. (A payment window or a video player that opens inside a QikTools page belongs to the company that runs it, and may load its own.)
No advertising cookies, no cross-site tracking, no analytics or marketing pixels, and no selling of browsing data. Everything above is either strictly necessary for the Service or a setting you chose yourself (your theme, or the currency or language you pick), so we don’t show a consent banner. If we ever add optional cookies, we will ask you first.
You can delete or block cookies and site data in your browser settings. If you block the sign-in cookie, you can’t stay signed in. Clearing site data resets your theme, unsent drafts and the help assistant’s conversation. More about how we handle data is in the Privacy Policy.
If we change what we store in your browser, we update this page and the date at the top before the change goes live.
