Terms of Service

Last updated 12 October 2026Version 2026-10-12

These terms are an agreement between you and Sarthak Daruka, who runs QikTools as a sole proprietor in India. QikTools is a trade name of Sarthak Daruka, an individual carrying on business in India as a sole proprietor.

They explain what you can expect from QikTools and what we expect from you. We have kept them as plain as we can.

In short

  • You’re agreeing with Sarthak Daruka, who runs QikTools as a sole proprietor in Asansol, India. You must be 18 or older.
  • AI can be wrong. Review every result, and use what you make lawfully and in a permissible way, whoever it is for.
  • Third-party AI models: follow their providers’ usage policies, and use them only through QikTools.
  • Real faces and voices: only your own, or with the person’s written consent. Never public figures. Never remove AI labels.
  • Every price is shown before you run. Failed runs, and runs that don’t finish because our servers stop, are refunded in credits automatically, unless an AI provider’s own safety system refuses the request and charges us for it. Purchased credits don’t expire while your account is open.
  • In rupees you buy from us, through Razorpay, with no GST while we aren’t GST-registered; in US dollars our payment partner sells to you as merchant of record. Cancel any time; your plan runs to the end of the paid period.
  • Payments are final except for errors, a service we couldn’t deliver, or where the law gives you a refund.
  • Indian law applies. Consumers keep their local rights; business disputes go to institutional arbitration seated in Asansol.

This summary helps you find your way. The full text below is what applies.

1.About these terms

These Terms of Service (the “Terms”) are a binding agreement between you and Sarthak Daruka, an individual carrying on business in India as a sole proprietor under the trade name “QikTools” (“QikTools”, “we”, “us”, “our”). Our principal place of business is Asansol, Paschim Bardhaman, West Bengal, India. You can reach us at hello@qiktools.com. The Terms cover your use of the QikTools website, apps, tools, studios, developer API and every related service (together, the “Service”).

You accept the Terms when you tick the box to create an account, when you accept an updated version we show you, or when you use the Service. If you use QikTools for a company or other organisation, you confirm you are allowed to bind it, and “you” includes that organisation.

These documents are part of the Terms: the AI & Acceptable Use Policy (breaking it is breaking these Terms), the Cancellation & Refund Policy, the Report & Takedown Policy and the AI Labels & Content Credentials page. The Privacy Policy and Cookie Policy explain how we handle personal data. If you use QikTools for a business, our Data Processing Agreement is also part of these Terms and covers the personal data in the content you put into QikTools. If two of these documents disagree, the one that deals more specifically with the topic applies.

For India’s Information Technology (Intermediary Guidelines and Digital Media Ethics Code) Rules, 2021, these Terms, the AI & Acceptable Use Policy and the Privacy Policy are our rules and regulations, user agreement and privacy policy. The Terms and our other legal documents are written in English and are not translated. The rest of QikTools, and our emails, may be shown in other languages; any translation is for convenience only, and the English version governs.

2.Who can use QikTools

QikTools is for adults only.

You must be 18 or older, and at least the age of majority where you live if that is higher. Nobody under 18 may use QikTools, even with a parent’s permission. If we learn that an account belongs to someone under 18, we will close it.

  • You must be able to enter into a binding contract, and give accurate details when you sign up and keep them up to date.
  • The free trial is available once per person. Creating extra accounts to collect more free credits is not allowed. If you join QikTools through a team or an agency (an invitation, your organisation’s directory or single sign-on, or setting up an agency), your account starts in that workspace: the free trial comes with a personal workspace when you activate one, and only if you haven’t had a trial before.
  • You may not use QikTools if the law forbids it, if you are in a country or region under comprehensive sanctions, if you appear on a sanctions list, or if we have previously suspended or closed your account for breaking these Terms. Some features aren’t available in every country, because of the law or our AI providers’ rules.

3.Your account and your team

Keep your password, sign-in methods and API keys secret. You are responsible for everything done through your account, including by teammates and by anyone using your API keys. Tell us at once at hello@qiktools.com if you think your account has been misused. If you sign in with Google, Microsoft or your organisation’s single sign-on, you are responsible for keeping that account secure too, and your organisation may manage your team membership.

A team owner is responsible for the people they invite, for their roles and permissions, for the team’s shared credits, spending limits and approval settings, and for removing members who should no longer have access. Content shared with a team can be seen, and depending on their role edited, by its members. When you leave a team, you lose access to the team’s content and credits.

Your account can have a personal workspace and the workspaces of the teams or agencies you belong to: you can be on more than one team and own one of them. The workspace you choose decides whose credits a tool spends and where a new project belongs; credits never move between workspaces. Your personal workspace (its credits, plan, payments, projects, Brand Vault and API keys) is private: a team’s admins and members can’t see it. Projects you make in a team’s workspace, including Design Studio designs and the pictures inside them, and files you share with a team, are shared with that team only, and you can move a project you own between your workspaces. A team’s members and admins can’t see what you do in your other teams.

4.The Service and our AI providers

QikTools gives you AI tools to create and edit video, images, audio and text, and to plan and schedule content. Many tools use AI models made by other companies, which are listed on the AI Models & Providers page. Every tool shows its price before you run it, and tools that let you choose a model show which one will run. Those companies’ usage policies also apply to the requests you send to their models.

We add, change and retire models and features to keep the Service good, safe and affordable. When a model is retired, we may move a tool to a different model and tell you. We may label some features as beta. We work to keep the Service available and fast, but we don’t promise it will be uninterrupted or error-free, and we may apply fair-use and rate limits to protect it for everyone.

If we make a change that materially reduces what a paid plan includes, we will tell you in advance. You may then cancel, and if you are on a yearly plan we will refund the unused months.

5.Third-party AI models and their rules

Many tools run AI models that other companies make and serve. When you use them:

  • Follow the providers’ rules. You must follow the usage policies of the providers whose models you use, linked below. Their main rules are summarised in our AI & Acceptable Use Policy, and every model and provider is listed on the AI Models & Providers page.
  • These Terms protect our providers too. Some providers require the terms we give our customers to be at least as protective of them as their own terms are (Runway requires this), and these Terms are written to be. You get no rights in a provider’s models, software or services beyond using them through QikTools; their intellectual property stays theirs; and our disclaimers, our limits of liability and your responsibility to us under these Terms protect our providers as well.
  • Only through QikTools. You may use the providers’ models only through QikTools, as we offer them. Using QikTools doesn’t give you an account with, or a licence from, any provider, and you must not try to reach a provider’s services through QikTools in any other way, for example by extracting keys, replaying or altering our requests, or using QikTools as a gateway to a provider’s API.
  • Suspension. We may suspend or end your access, to particular models or to QikTools as a whole, if you break a provider’s rules, and we will do so when a provider requires it.
  • Some providers’ own terms also give them rights in the content they receive, for example to train their models, as the Privacy Policy explains.

The providers’ usage policies:

6.Auto (best value) model selection

Where a tool offers a choice of AI models, you can let QikTools choose (“Auto (best value)”) or choose a model yourself. Auto applies published rules, not a hidden AI, to the request you make (for example the type of output, words in an image, realistic people, size, shape, length, sound and reference pictures) and selects the model it expects to do that job well for the fewest credits.

Before any paid run we show the model selected, the reason and the price. We check them again when you run it; if either has changed, we don’t charge you and we show you the new selection first. You pay the price of the model that actually runs, as shown.

Auto never changes the consent a run requires, never sends a realistic person’s likeness to a model whose provider refuses such content, and never retries a request a provider refused on a different model. “Best value” describes our selection rules, not a guarantee that a particular result will meet your expectations: results vary between models and runs, and you can choose any available model yourself at any time. The model that produced each output is shown with it and recorded in its Content Credentials. Each provider’s terms, attribution and usage rules (for example “Powered by Runway”) apply to the model selected, as they would if you had chosen it.

7.AI results: check before you rely on them

QikTools uses artificial-intelligence models to create and edit content. We use them to the best of our knowledge and ability, but AI can be wrong. Results may be inaccurate, incomplete, biased or offensive, may not follow your instructions, and may resemble existing material or results made for other people. Nothing QikTools produces is professional advice, whether legal, financial, medical, tax or any other kind. Review every result before you rely on it or publish it.

Everything you create, upload, generate, edit, schedule or share with QikTools, whether for yourself, for your team, for your company, for a client or for any other person or persons, must be created and used only in a permissible way. That means lawfully; with every right, licence and consent you need; in line with these Terms and the AI & Acceptable Use Policy; and in line with the rules of any platform where you publish it. You alone decide what to publish, and you are responsible for your inputs, for how you use outputs, and for the consequences of that use.

8.Faces, voices and other people’s rights

Talking presenters, voice cloning, dubbing, translation in the speaker’s voice, custom models of a person and tools that use a face are powerful. You may use them only with your own face or voice, or with the express, informed, written consent of the person shown or heard, covering the way you will use the result.

  • Each time you confirm in QikTools that a face or voice is yours or that you have consent, you are giving us a promise we rely on. The confirmation, and the version of the wording you confirmed, are recorded as part of this agreement.
  • Keep the written consent for at least six years after you last use that face or voice, and send it to us within 7 days if we ask. We may pause or remove content, voices or models, or restrict your account, until you do.
  • Never use the face or voice of a public figure or of anyone who hasn’t consented, and never use a child’s face or voice in realistic images, video or audio. Where a tool offers it, a child’s parent or guardian, or someone with the guardian’s permission, may turn the child’s photo into an illustration (for example a storybook character), and confirms this each time. Our systems block many public-figure requests automatically.
  • A voice in the Voice Rights Vault is created only after its owner records a spoken consent. It can be paused or revoked at any time, and a revoked voice can’t be used again.

We may switch off features that use real faces or voices at any time, for example while a payment or platform partner reviews them. When a feature is off, the tool offers AI presenters or stock voices instead.

9.AI labels and content credentials

To meet India’s Information Technology Rules as amended in 2026, the EU AI Act and platform rules, QikTools marks what it generates. Realistic images and videos carry a visible “AI-generated” label. Audio in a cloned voice, and AI speech delivered as audio (for example from AI Voice Studio), starts with a short spoken disclosure; videos with AI speech carry the visible label. A Movie Director film with a line in a Voice Vault voice also starts with a short spoken notice that it uses AI-generated voices, in the film’s language (or in English if it is in a language we have no recording for); we add it to every export and cloud render of that film. A video from the AI Explainer Video Maker that has a voice opens with a short spoken notice that the audio was generated with AI. If its narration is in your Voice Vault voice, the notice is instead the one for films: that the video uses AI-generated voices, in the video’s language (or in English if it is in a language we have no recording for). Generated files carry embedded metadata, content credentials and a unique identifier. Anyone can check a file on our verification page. Details are on the AI Labels & Content Credentials page.

Text our writing tools generate, including lyrics we write for a song, is AI-generated text, and QikTools marks it too. When you copy it, the formatted (HTML) version that goes on your clipboard carries a machine-readable AI mark. When you download it, the file carries the mark in its own metadata (for example Markdown front matter, HTML meta tags and schema.org data, JSON entries, Word, PDF and PowerPoint document properties, or a note in WebVTT captions) or, for a plain-text file, in a short labelled line at the end. Where we recognise the words of a downloaded Markdown, text, HTML, JSON or WebVTT file as ours, we also sign its mark digitally. Word, PowerPoint, Excel and PDF files and ZIP packs that our tools make from AI-generated material carry a mark of their own, digitally signed whenever signing is available, as the AI Labels & Content Credentials page describes. Where an AI provider offers a watermark for the text its models write and we have switched it on (OpenAI’s text watermark, for the models it covers), the AI-written words also carry that provider’s invisible watermark, in the way the model chose them. We never change your words or hide characters in them. Files that have no place for a mark, such as CSV and TSV spreadsheets and SubRip subtitles, are left as they are. We don’t mark small edits to your own writing (spelling, grammar, a word or two), transcripts of speech, code and formulas, alt text and other short labels (where a mark would change what a website or CMS imports), or, where a tool can tell that it’s yours, a translation of your own text. Lyrics you write yourself for a song are your own words and are not marked. Anyone can check a text on our verification page. The result says only whether, when and with which tool QikTools generated it, never who made it; it is information, not proof of who wrote a text, and “no match” does not show that a person wrote it.

Never remove an AI label.

You must not remove, crop out, blur, cover, alter or suppress any AI label, watermark, metadata or content credential on content made with QikTools, whether ours or an AI provider’s. You must not use any tool, including ours, to do so, or share content from which they have been removed. Doing so is a serious breach of these Terms and may also break the law.

The same goes for the machine-readable AI mark on text: you must not delete or alter it, or strip a file’s metadata, front matter or closing line, or use or promote a tool made to do so, and you must not deliberately defeat an AI provider’s watermark in text (for example with a tool made to evade AI detection). Editing the words themselves is allowed, and a mark that another website or editor drops when text is pasted into it is not a breach.

The same goes for the signed AI marks in documents and ZIP packs: you must not delete, alter or forge the signature, or the properties, metadata or QIKTOOLS-AI-PROVENANCE.json file that carry it, or the list of files in a pack, or use or promote a tool made to do so. Editing the content of the file is allowed; the verification page then shows it as changed.

Where the law or a platform requires it, disclose that content was generated or altered with AI when you publish it. This includes the EU AI Act’s rules on deepfakes and on AI-written text published to inform the public on matters of public interest (unless a person has reviewed it and someone takes editorial responsibility for it), advertising rules (for example New York’s rule on AI-generated people in ads), and the AI labels that social platforms ask you to switch on.

10.What you must not do

Follow the AI & Acceptable Use Policy. In short, you must not use QikTools to create, upload or share child sexual abuse material; sexual or intimate imagery of a real person; false documents or records; material for obtaining weapons or explosives; deceptive depictions of real people or real events; impersonation of anyone, including public figures; or anything illegal, infringing, hateful, harassing, fraudulent or harmful. You must not attack, overload, scrape, probe or bypass the Service, its limits or its safety systems.

Our systems check requests before they run and may refuse them automatically. You are responsible for anyone who uses your account or your API keys.

11.Your content and who owns it

Your inputs, such as prompts, uploads, brand details, scripts and recordings, remain yours. You confirm you have the right to use them and to let us process them to provide the Service.

Your outputs. As between you and us, and to the extent the law and our AI providers’ terms allow, you own the outputs you create, and we assign to you any rights we may have in them. Some countries don’t protect purely AI-generated material by copyright, and similar outputs may be generated for other people, so we can’t promise that an output is unique, exclusive or protectable.

Custom brand models that you train on your own images are private to your account. We don’t use them for anyone else, and they are deleted, including their trained files at our AI provider, when you delete them or your account. A model of a person also stops at the end of its one-year consent term.

Our licence to run the Service. You give us a worldwide, non-exclusive, royalty-free licence to host, copy, process, transmit and display your inputs and outputs only as needed to run, secure and support the Service for you. That includes sending them to the providers that do the work, adding AI labels and content credentials, checking requests for safety, handling reports and complying with the law. The licence ends when the content is deleted, except for backups that cycle out and records we must keep, such as consent, provenance and takedown records. We don’t sell your content or personal data, and we don’t use your content to train AI models, other than the custom brand models you choose to train for yourself. The AI providers that run your jobs receive the content each job needs, and some providers’ own terms let them use it to train or improve their models; the Privacy Policy explains this.

Anything you share through a public share link can be seen by anyone who has the link, until you switch the link off. If you send us feedback, we may use it to improve QikTools without owing you anything.

The QikTools name, logo, software and website are ours. You may not copy, sell, reverse-engineer or resell the Service except as these Terms allow.

12.AI Content Repurposer

You may only add recordings, transcripts, articles and podcast feeds that you own or have permission to repurpose. Before each pack you confirm “I own this content or have permission to repurpose it.”; when you switch on Repurposer Autopilot you confirm once “I’ll only add recordings I own or have permission to repurpose, and any podcast feed I connect is my own.” We keep a record of each confirmation (its wording, version and time).

We don’t download videos from YouTube or other platforms. Links to video and social platforms are refused, except that, while we have it switched on, the Repurposer can read the captions of a YouTube video you own or may repurpose, never the video itself. To connect a podcast feed, you prove it’s yours with a code we email to the owner address the feed lists.

The Repurposer writes only from your source and is instructed not to invent quotes, statistics, reviews or testimonials; a claim check flags numbers, endorsements and promises to verify. AI can still make mistakes: you are responsible for reviewing every piece, and its claims, before you publish it.

Autopilot only drafts: nothing is published or scheduled for you. It spends credits only within the monthly budget and the per-pack limit you set; a pack that would go over either is skipped and you’re told. Each pack is priced piece by piece before you start and charged once. Any piece we can’t deliver is refunded automatically, and the whole pack is refunded if the recording can’t be transcribed or our safety screen refuses it.

The Social Content Multiplier is now the Repurposer’s “Social posts”: one post per network you choose, written only from your source, with the same rules against invented claims. You’re responsible for reviewing each post before you publish it.

13.Personal Brand Engine

  • You may only use your own recordings, interview answers, notes and past posts, for content published under your own name. Before each session you confirm “This recording or text is my own content (or I have permission to use it), for posts published under my own name.”, and before saving voice samples you confirm “These samples are my own writing, published under my own name — not anyone else’s posts.” We keep a record of each confirmation (its wording, version and time).
  • The engine learns and writes only in the account holder’s own voice. You may not use it to imitate another real person, to write in someone else’s name without their permission, or to publish posts that misrepresent who wrote them.
  • Drafts are written only from your input and are instructed not to invent facts, figures, quotes, clients, testimonials, reviews or credentials; a claim check flags things to verify. AI can still make mistakes: you review and approve every piece, and you’re responsible for what you publish, its accuracy, and any disclosure your audience, a network or the law expects.
  • QikTools never posts, comments, likes, follows or messages on your behalf, and doesn’t use unofficial automation, browser extensions or your passwords for any network. “Set reminders” adds a piece to your Social Library and emails you when it’s time to post; you post it yourself, and you’re responsible for following each network’s rules.
  • An Engine Month is a 30-day allowance bought with credits; its price and contents are shown before you buy it. It doesn’t renew automatically. Unused sessions, pieces, new versions and analyses expire at the end of the 30 days and aren’t refunded, except that a month nothing has been used from can be cancelled within 7 days for a full credit refund. Pieces we can’t deliver go back to your month (or are refunded, if they were charged). A month is priced for the writing language you buy it in; work in a language that costs more is charged as you go, at the price shown first.
  • Each session is priced before you start and charged once. Anything that can’t be written is refunded automatically, and the whole session is refunded if the recording can’t be transcribed or our safety screen refuses it.
  • Import only your own analytics exports. Numbers you type or import are used only to show your insights and to shape your next plan.

14.Course Factory

You may only add recordings, documents, slide decks, web pages and notes that you own or have the rights to turn into a course and sell, and only where everyone who appears or speaks in them has agreed to that use. Before anything is transcribed or planned you confirm “I own this material or have the rights to turn it into a course and sell it, and everyone who appears or speaks in it has agreed to this use.” We keep a record of each confirmation (its wording, version and time, the project, a list of the material by name and size, and hashed account and network details).

The Course Factory writes only from your material and is instructed not to invent facts, statistics, results, quotes, testimonials, credentials or legal, medical, financial or safety claims; it cites the passages each lesson and scene comes from and lists what your material doesn’t cover instead of filling it in. AI can still make mistakes: you are the author and publisher of your course, responsible for reviewing every lesson, assessment and claim before you publish or sell it, and for having a qualified person review courses on medical, legal, financial, safety or other regulated topics.

Certificates of completion are issued by you, not by QikTools, and don’t mean that QikTools or anyone else has accredited or endorsed your course. You must not claim an accreditation, licence, professional qualification or continuing-education credit you don’t hold.

Launch kits (sales pages, emails, posts and promo scripts) use only the facts you give; they mark with brackets where real evidence should go and never invent reviews, results, earnings, guarantees, prices, deadlines or credentials. You are responsible for making sure everything you publish to sell your course is true and complies with consumer-protection and advertising law where you sell it, including rules on earnings claims, testimonials and pricing.

Lessons are rendered, translated and exported in the AI Training Video Studio, at its prices and under its rules, including AI labels and Content Credentials on lesson videos, the course player’s AI disclosure and the consent rules for presenters made from a real person’s photo or voice. Don’t remove those labels or disclosures. When you deliver a course through your own learning management system or course platform, you decide which learner data it collects and you are responsible for it; QikTools doesn’t receive learners’ data from exported courses.

Each step is priced before it runs and charged when it runs; anything we can’t deliver is refunded automatically. We don’t take a share of your course sales.

15.Global Launch Kit

  • The Global Launch Kit writes marketplace listings, keyword ideas and an automated claims check, makes product pictures and video ads, and prepares upload files for the marketplaces and countries you choose. You may only add product photos you own or have permission to use, and product facts that are true. Before the kit makes listings or pictures, you confirm “These are my own product photos (or I have the right to use them), and my product facts are true.” We keep a record of each confirmation (its wording, version and time).
  • Every listing’s main image is made from your own photo: we remove its background and place it on white, without generating anything new. Lifestyle photos and video ads are made with AI. They carry AI labels and Content Credentials, which you must not remove or alter. Where a marketplace limits AI pictures, the kit follows that rule by default. You are responsible for following each marketplace’s current rules when you publish.
  • Listings and translations are written by AI from your facts. The claims check is automated guidance: it is not legal advice, and it does not guarantee that a listing complies with any law or marketplace policy, or that a marketplace will accept it. Have every listing checked by someone fluent in its language, and fix everything marked “must fix”, before you publish. You approve each listing before it is exported, and you are responsible for what you publish.
  • Keyword ideas are suggestions written by AI. They are not measured search data, and no search volumes or rankings are claimed.
  • Marketplace names are trademarks of their owners and are used only to say which marketplace a file is for. QikTools isn’t affiliated with or endorsed by any marketplace.
  • Each market, picture and rewrite is priced before you start and charged once. Anything we can’t deliver is refunded automatically. Making something again is charged again. Video ads are priced and governed as in the AI UGC Ad Generator.

16.Real Estate Listing Studio

  • Your photos and rights. You may upload only photos you own or are licensed to edit and use in advertising (copyright usually stays with the photographer, so the licence must allow changes). You are responsible for occupants’ and owners’ consent, for removing or blurring people, number plates, family photos and documents, and for any third-party content in the photos.
  • Truthful advertising. Virtual staging, sky replacement, virtual twilight and decluttering are illustrations and must be disclosed. You must not use the studio to hide defects, misstate a property’s permanent features, condition, size, views or surroundings, or otherwise mislead buyers or tenants. The studio labels edits, keeps originals beside them and refuses some requests, but you remain responsible for complying with the laws and rules that apply to your adverts, for example California Business and Professions Code §10140.8 (originals of digitally altered images, in force 1 January 2026, sales), the NAR Code of Ethics, your MLS’s rules, the UK’s unfair trading rules as restated in the Digital Markets, Competition and Consumers Act 2024, India’s RERA Act 2016 (section 11(2)) and state RERA orders, and Dubai and Abu Dhabi advertising-permit rules.
  • Labels and credentials. You must not remove or obscure the visible disclosure on an edited photo or a video’s AI label, or strip Content Credentials, except by using the clean “MLS version” we provide for MLS uploads together with its caption and adjacent original.
  • Wording checks. The fair-housing and accuracy checker is guidance only and may miss problems or flag acceptable words; you decide what you publish and remain responsible under fair-housing and equality laws.
  • Floor plans are illustrations, not measurements; don’t rely on them for areas, price or legal descriptions.
  • Licences and identifiers. You must hold any licence your jurisdiction requires to advertise property and enter accurate names and licence, brokerage, RERA, permit, BRN/ORN and MLS numbers; we don’t verify them.
  • Property pages. You are the advertiser and publisher of your property pages; we host them for you. A published page stays online for 12 months from when it is published or last renewed and includes about 1 GB of visitor traffic a year; past that, visitors see a lighter version of the page (its first photos, with the rest a tap away, and the video paused) until the next renewal. Updating the page is free but does not extend that period. You can renew it for another 12 months for the price shown at the time (up to two years ahead); we remind you by email and in-app about 14 days and 3 days before it ends. You can take a page offline or delete it at any time. To keep a page online we copy the pictures and video you publish on it into our own storage, where anyone with a file’s address can open it while the page is online; they are removed when you take the page offline, it expires or you delete it, so putting a page back online copies them afresh from your project. If we suspend or close your account, we take those pictures and video out of public storage straight away and keep them privately, so the page is intact if the suspension ends; they are deleted if you delete the page or your account, or when the page goes offline or expires. When the period ends without a renewal, the page goes offline and the copies of its pictures and video are deleted; your project in the Real Estate Listing Studio is kept. A walkthrough video on a page must be one made in QikTools by you or your team. We may remove or suspend a page or its contact form if it is reported or appears unlawful, misleading, infringing or abusive (a “Report this page” link is on every page). Enquiries sent through your page are your data: you are the controller and we process them for you (see the Privacy Policy and the Data Processing Agreement); keep and use them lawfully, with marketing only after the visitor’s separate opt-in. We keep with each enquiry a record of the wording the visitor agreed to, so you can show it if you are asked; it is deleted with the enquiry. The studio writes your listing copy with AI, and your property page says so by default whenever its headline, highlights or description use the studio’s wording (in its footer, with a machine-readable AI mark in its page code); you may switch that statement off only for text you wrote yourself, and editing the studio’s words doesn’t change it. Keep it on whenever any of the headline, highlights or description is the studio’s wording.

17.Accessibility Autopilot

  • You may only add websites you own or manage, or act for the owner of, and are authorised to have scanned. Before anything is scanned you confirm this and prove control with a meta tag on the home page, a verification file or a DNS record; we keep a record of your confirmation and of each check (the method, the time and the result) and check again before every scan. A website whose proof has been removed is not scanned, and monitoring pauses.
  • Our crawler, QikToolsAccessibilityBot, reads only public pages. It follows the website’s robots.txt, never signs in, submits forms or gets past paywalls, waits at least a second between requests and slows down or stops when the website asks. We may pause or stop scanning any website, for example when its operator asks us to.
  • Alt text, captions, transcripts and audio descriptions are written by AI as drafts for you to review. They can be inaccurate. You are responsible for reviewing them and for anything you publish; take extra care with legal, medical and safety content. Nothing is published to your website by us.
  • Accessibility Autopilot checks and fixes pictures, videos and some page basics automatically. It does not test keyboard access, forms, page structure, colours as rendered on screen or documents, and it does not make a website compliant with WCAG, the European Accessibility Act, the ADA or any other law. Scores and reports record automated checks; they are not audits, certifications or legal advice. The accessibility statement is a template you must check and keep true.
  • Monitoring: when you switch it on, we charge the plan’s credits at once and at the start of every 30-day period until you switch it off. Automatic fixes are charged only within the monthly budget you set. A period that can’t be paid pauses monitoring; it never runs on credit. Switching off stops future charges; the current period isn’t refunded, and switching back on (same plan) before it ends costs nothing. We keep a record of your confirmation (its wording, version and time).
  • Scans are priced on the most pages you choose and the pages we didn’t reach are refunded when the scan ends. Alt-text batches refund the pictures that couldn’t be described. Caption and audio-description jobs that fail are refunded automatically.
  • When you ask us to caption or describe a video on your website, we copy it from your website for that purpose; you confirm you have the rights needed for the media on your website.

18.Winning Ads Loop

The Winning Ads Loop analyses ad-performance data you provide (exports from Meta Ads Manager, TikTok Ads Manager or Google Ads, or, where offered, read-only connections to ad accounts you authorise) and helps you make and test new versions of your ads.

  • Statistics are estimates. Results such as “proven winner”, confidence levels, ranges and test plans are statistical estimates computed from the data you provide, under the assumptions the tool shows (minimum amounts of data, day-to-day variation, comparisons within the same ad sets, adjustment for the number of ads compared). They are not a guarantee of future results. They depend on the accuracy and completeness of your data and on each platform’s own measurement and attribution. You decide how to spend your advertising budget.
  • Your data and your accounts. You must have the right to use the data you import and to authorise access to any ad account you connect. Connections are used read-only: QikTools never creates, changes, pauses or publishes anything in your ad accounts. (Meta and TikTok give us read-only permissions; Google has no narrower Ads permission, so for Google the limit is ours: we run only reports.) You can disconnect at any time; disconnecting deletes the access we stored and asks the platform to revoke it.
  • Your ads. You are responsible for the ads you publish, including their claims and offers and their compliance with the law and each platform’s advertising policies. Offers must be real and available to everyone who sees the ad. AI creators are fictional people: they must never be presented as real customers, users, reviewers or experts. Keep the “AI-generated” label and Content Credentials on AI-made ads, and use each platform’s AI-disclosure setting where it requires one (for example TikTok’s AI-generated content label).
  • Other platforms. Meta, TikTok and Google are independent of QikTools. Their terms govern your use of their services and data, and QikTools isn’t responsible for their availability, measurement or decisions.
  • Paid steps. Importing, the statistics, test plans, lineage, insights and the dashboard are free. The AI round read and new hooks are charged in credits, shown before they run. New ads are made in the AI UGC Ad Generator or Product Ads at their own prices. A paid step that fails on our side is refunded automatically.

19.Ad templates

Ad templates are ready-made plans in the AI UGC Ad Generator and the AI Product Video Generator. You add your product, your photos and, if you wish, your own words; the template sets the shots, the voice or presenter, the music, the captions and the end card.

  • One fixed price, shown first. Each template has one price in credits, shown before you create anything and charged once when you press Create. It covers every step of the template and doesn’t change with the creator, the language, the frame shape, the length of your script or the number of photos.
  • Refunds. A step that can’t be made (a shot, the music, the voice-over or the final assembly) is refunded automatically, by its share of the price; an ad that can’t be made at all is refunded in full. If a model’s provider refuses a step under its own safety rules and charges us for the attempt, that step’s credits stay charged (see Provider safety refusals).
  • Making one shot again. For three days after an ad is made you can make a single shot again. Its price is shown before you confirm. The voice-over, the music and the other shots are kept, you get a new version of the ad, and the earlier version stays in your project. If the new shot can’t be made, the price of the remake is refunded in full and your ad is unchanged. After three days the files the ad was built from expire, so a single shot can no longer be remade.
  • What you confirm. Before an ad is made you confirm that its claims are true and that you can back them up, and that you have the rights to what you upload. Some templates ask for one more; for the Before & after reveal: that both photos are real and unedited and show a typical result, and that they show a place, an object or a product, not identifiable people. We keep these confirmations in your consent record.
  • AI creators and voices. Templates use AI-generated creators, or a synthetic voice-over with no one on screen, never a real person’s face or voice. Never present them as real customers, reviewers or experts. Every video carries our visible “AI-generated” label and Content Credentials, which you must not remove. The “AI-generated ad” note on the end card is on by default; turning it off doesn’t remove your duty to disclose AI-generated content wherever a platform or the law requires it.
  • Your words and claims. The script helper writes only from the facts you give it and never has an AI creator say they used the product. You remain responsible for every claim and offer in your ad, for following advertising law (including rules on endorsements and testimonials) and each platform’s policies.
  • Virtual try-on is announced but not yet available.

20.Marketplace Listing Engine

  • You may only add photos and product information that you own or have permission to use. Before anything is made you confirm “These photos are mine or I have permission to use them for this listing, and the product facts are accurate.” Each listing’s export unlocks only after you approve it (“I’ve checked this listing, its pictures and its declarations against my product. I’m responsible for what I publish.”). We keep a record of each confirmation and approval (its wording, version and time, and for an approval a fingerprint of the listing you approved).
  • Listings, keyword ideas and language versions are written by AI from the facts you give. The writer is instructed not to invent features, numbers, certifications, reviews, origins or offers, and an automated claims check flags wording that marketplaces or the law in the countries you choose may not allow, with its reason and source. The check is guidance, not legal advice, and doesn’t guarantee that a listing complies. You are responsible for checking every listing, picture and declaration before you publish it, and for keeping proof of every claim and certification.
  • Legal declarations (for example India’s Legal Metrology declarations, EU product-safety details and US warnings) are copied from what you enter, exactly as you enter them. You are responsible for their accuracy and completeness; an Indian marketplace’s export stays locked until the core declarations are complete.
  • Main images are made from your own photo (its background removed and placed on a plain background). Lifestyle and in-hand pictures are AI-generated from your photo; they carry AI metadata and Content Credentials, and a visible label where the law asks. Don’t remove or alter labels or credentials, and don’t use AI pictures where a marketplace doesn’t allow them (the kit leaves them out of those packs).
  • Marketplace names are used only to say which marketplace a listing is for; QikTools isn’t connected to, approved by or endorsed by any marketplace. Marketplace rules change, so check them before you publish.
  • Each request is priced before it runs and charged once. Anything that doesn’t finish is refunded automatically, including a step whose server stops part-way (refunded within about 20 minutes); a step that delivers less than it charged for gives the difference back.

21.AI Video Translator

  • You may translate only videos you own or have the rights to translate, and only where everyone who appears or speaks in them has agreed to it. Each time you start a translation you confirm whose face and voice it is, as described in “Faces, voices and other people’s rights”, and we keep a record of that confirmation (its wording, version and time).
  • A video can be translated in Quick mode (we transcribe, translate and re-voice it in one step) or in Review mode (you edit the translated script and choose each voice first). Speakers get matched stock voices unless you choose otherwise. A speaker’s own voice or a Voice Vault voice is used only when you choose it, and only while we have the features that match a real person’s voice switched on; a Voice Vault voice also needs consent that covers dubbing. A Voice Vault voice can dub in two ways, each with its own price shown before you start: “Your own voice” (where it is available in the languages you chose) is the voice itself speaking the new language, so it sounds like you and keeps your accent, and costs more than “A voice like yours”, a natural voice for each language turned toward yours, with your pitch and tone and a native accent: close to you, but not an exact copy. You can hear a free sample of each first. Lip-sync can re-sync the lips where a face is on screen, at one of three qualities (Standard, Premium or Close-up); we can switch that feature off too, as “Faces, voices and other people’s rights” explains. Each quality’s price for your video is shown before you start. The models that run each step are listed on the AI Models & Providers page.
  • AI providers’ own rules apply to what you translate, and the AI & Acceptable Use Policy passes them on to you. In particular, lip-synced videos can’t promote or advertise a political party, candidate or elected official, and ElevenLabs’ voices, which we use for languages our Standard voice doesn’t speak and when you choose them, can’t voice political candidates or elected officials, even with their consent.
  • The translation, the new voice, the lip-sync and the subtitles are made by AI and can contain mistakes. You are responsible for checking every translation before you publish it, including names, numbers and any legal, medical, financial or safety wording, and for how you use it. Every translated video carries a visible “AI-generated” label and Content Credentials. Don’t remove them.
  • Each language is priced before it runs, from the length of your video and the options you choose (the translation and new voice, lip-sync for the pieces that get it, and joining the pieces of a long video); the first language of a new upload also carries its transcript and voice separation. If a piece’s lips can’t be re-synced, that piece keeps the new voice over its original picture and the lip-sync part of its price is refunded automatically. A language we can’t finish is refunded, except for the video’s transcript and voice separation once they are made: they stay with your upload so trying again doesn’t charge you for them twice. If a lip-sync provider’s own safety system refuses a face in your video, that language is stopped and refunded in the same way.
  • Your uploaded video is deleted from our storage when everything you started from it has finished, or after a day if you don’t start anything; our daily clean-up removes anything left over once it is over 24 hours old. Working copies and the transcript are kept for about 7 days so you can add languages. Finished translations are hosted like other generated files: download them or save them to your library, and delete them from your history when you no longer need them.

22.Video Dubbing Autopilot and connected channels

  • If you connect a YouTube channel, you agree to be bound by the YouTube Terms of Service. Video Dubbing Autopilot uses YouTube API Services.
  • Only dub videos you own or have the rights to dub. You’re responsible for the dubs you make and publish, and for any disclosure the platforms you publish on require for altered or synthetic content (on YouTube: Studio → AI use).
  • A dub in your Voice Vault voice works as it does in the AI Video Translator: the same two ways to use your voice, the same consent check, and a free sample of each first.
  • We never download videos from YouTube or other video platforms; a link to a video file you control is fetched only if its website’s robots.txt allows it. Dubs of a connected channel’s videos are made from the caption tracks you choose. Subtitles are added to your video only when you approve that upload; voice tracks are added by you in YouTube Studio.
  • Autopilot only acts within the limits you set (a monthly budget and a limit per video) and, unless you switch approvals off, waits for your approval. Dubs it runs on its own are charged to the wallet you switched it on with; anything that can’t be finished is refunded.

23.Film Pages and the Release Kit

  • What goes on a film page. A film page shows your film’s poster, trailer, words, cast and credits. The pictures, the trailer and the optional full film on a page must be ones made in QikTools by you or your team (in the Movie Director’s Release tab); you cannot upload files to a film page, but you can link a copy of your film that you keep on YouTube or Vimeo. You are the publisher of your film pages; we host them for you.
  • Your film and the credits. You are responsible for everything on a film page and in the film it presents: the story, the music, the voices and faces in it, and any third-party material, names or trademarks. Use a real person’s likeness or voice only with their consent (see Likeness and voice), and credit performances honestly: a voice made by AI must be credited as AI and never presented as a real person’s. The cast and crew names you enter must belong to people who agreed to be named. The writer, posters, stills, trailer cuts, press kit and social posts are made with AI as drafts: check them before you publish or post them. We post nothing for you.
  • Labels. Every picture and video made in the Release tab carries the visible “AI-generated” label and Content Credentials, and your page says the film was made with AI. You must not remove or obscure them. If our writer wrote your tagline, logline or synopsis, the page says so; you may switch that statement off only for text you wrote yourself, and editing the writer’s words does not change it.
  • How long a page stays online. A published page stays online for 12 months from when it is published or last renewed and includes 3 GB of visitor traffic a year (and 30 full viewings a year of the full film, if you host it); past that, visitors see a lighter version of the page (its poster, words, cast and credits, with the video paused or a link to where you keep the film) until you renew it or add more viewing. Updating a page is free but does not extend it. You can renew it for another 12 months, or add viewing in packs of 2 GB, for the price shown at the time (renewals up to two years ahead); we remind you by email and in-app about 14 days and 3 days before it ends. You can take a page offline or delete it at any time.
  • Copies we keep. To keep a page online we copy its pictures into our own public storage, where anyone with a file’s address can open them while the page is online, and its trailer and film into private storage, from where they play only through your page and are counted against its viewing. They are removed when you take the page offline, when you delete the page or your account, or 30 days after the page’s 12 months end without a renewal. Putting a page back online copies them again from the pictures and video you made in the Release tab while we still hold them for you, otherwise you make them again there; your film project is kept. If we suspend or close your account, we take the page’s pictures out of public storage straight away and keep them privately, so the page is intact if the suspension ends.
  • Reports and removal. Every film page has a “Report this page” link. We may remove or suspend a page if it is reported or appears unlawful, misleading, infringing or abusive; when we take a page down we keep copies of its files for 180 days as evidence (never child sexual abuse material, which we report and do not keep) and tell you why (see the Takedown policy).
  • Search engines and counting. A film page is hidden from search engines unless you allow indexing for that page. Views and plays of a page are counted without cookies (see the Privacy Policy).

24.Trademarks

QikTools™ and the Q logo are trademarks of Sarthak Daruka. ™ marks an unregistered trademark. You may use our name to refer to QikTools accurately, but not our logo, and not our name or anything confusingly similar in a way that suggests we made, sponsor or endorse something we didn’t, or as part of your own product, domain, app or account names.

Other product and company names are trademarks of their respective owners, as the notice on the AI Models & Providers page explains.

25.Credits

Tools are paid for with credits. Every run shows its price before you start, and credits are taken when the run starts. If a run fails, the credits come back automatically, except when an AI provider refuses the request under its own safety rules and charges us for it (see Provider safety refusals). Some runs hold the most they could cost and give back what isn’t used when the result is ready.

  • Trial credits. New accounts may get 10 free credits, valid for 7 days, once per person.
  • Plan credits come with an active plan. Monthly plans add them at each renewal. Yearly plans are billed once a year and add them in monthly instalments. While your plan is active, up to 1,000 unused plan credits (400 on Lite) carry over to the next month; the rest expire. All plan credits end when the plan ends.
  • Purchased credits (top-ups) don’t expire while your account is open. They stay when you cancel or change your plan, and they end only when your account is closed.
  • Team credits belong to the team’s shared balance, which the team owner manages.
  • When you run a tool, the credits that expire soonest are used first: trial and plan credits before purchased credits.
  • Free quick actions. Paid plans, team and agency seats, and credit purchases from the last 30 days include a fair-use allowance of free quick actions — small, everyday-sized text steps such as captions, formulas, short rewrites, single document answers and reading text from a photo. The allowance is per person, resets daily and weekly, has no cash value, does not carry over, and ends at once if the purchase that earned it is refunded or disputed; very large requests are priced by size and show their price before you run them; we may change which steps are included and the amounts.
  • Same voice in every shot. In the AI Movie Director each spoken line can be re-voiced, keeping its timing, into the voice you pick for that character — a stock voice, or a Voice Vault voice whose owner has consented (each use is entered in that voice’s usage log) — then checked back word for word against your line. It is switched on by default where our tests found a model’s voices change from shot to shot, and you can switch it off. The clip is heard first: if it says more than your line, nothing is re-voiced — the clip’s own voices are kept, the shot is marked for a re-render, and you pay only for what was used. If a re-voiced line comes back wrong it is re-voiced once more; if both tries mishear it and the clip itself says it correctly, the clip’s own voice is kept and you pay only what the unused tries cost. The price is shown before you render, and it depends on the line’s length and on the voice you pick. A film with a line in a Voice Vault voice starts with a short spoken AI notice (see “AI labels and content credentials” above), and that line, downloaded on its own, keeps its own spoken disclosure.
  • Free helpers. Reading a web page into a tool, Munns (our help chat) and “Enhance my prompt” are free for everyone within fair-use limits. Paid plans, team and agency seats and recent credit purchases have higher limits than free and trial accounts, and free accounts share a daily limit across QikTools. When a limit is reached you can paste the text or upload the file instead, or try again later. We may change these limits.
  • Talk to Munns. Our live voice help is free for signed-in users within the minutes shown before each conversation (paid plans, team and agency seats and recent credit purchases get more than free and trial accounts). A conversation lasts at most 10 minutes and ends after a quiet minute. Munns is an AI and can make mistakes: the price shown on each tool, and these Terms, are what apply. Munns can open pages and draft a message to our team, but it can’t run tools, spend credits, buy anything or change your account. We may end a conversation that breaks the AI & Acceptable Use Policy, pause Talk to Munns when demand is high, and change these limits.

Credits have no cash value. They are not money, a currency or stored value, can’t be transferred or sold, and can’t be exchanged for money except where the law requires. If credits are added or taken by mistake, we may correct your balance.

26.Provider safety refusals

When an AI provider refuses a request and charges us

We check every request with our own safety filters before it reaches an AI model. If a request passes our checks but the AI provider’s own safety system refuses it and the provider charges us for that attempt, the credits shown for that run are charged and not refunded. If the provider doesn’t charge us, your credits are refunded automatically. Repeated attempts to get around safety systems can lead to suspension.

  • You always see the credits for a run before you start it. If a provider refuses a run, the tool tells you whether the credits were kept or refunded.
  • We keep credits only for refusals that the provider’s own published billing rules say it charges for. Every other failure is refunded automatically, to the balance the credits came from.
  • A request refused by a provider counts towards the same safety limits as one refused by our own checks, as the Report & Takedown Policy describes.
  • Pauses that protect our providers. Our AI providers run their own safety checks and can suspend our access if too many requests are turned down. If a provider’s safety system turns down 2 of your requests within 24 hours, your requests to that provider are paused for 24 hours; models from our other providers keep working. If a provider turns down an unusual number of requests across QikTools within an hour, it may be paused for everyone for about 30 minutes. A request stopped by a pause is never charged. We may change these limits; ask support to review a pause you believe is a mistake.

27.Free first ad

New accounts may make one free AI creator ad (the “free first ad”): a watermarked draft of about 20 seconds (480p, vertical) presented by one of our AI creators and written from your product details. It is an introductory offer, available once per person (not once per account) within 14 days of signing up, and only while we run it.

  • It is available only to an account created through our sign-up with a confirmed email address that received the free trial. It is not available with a paid plan, after a past subscription, with a complimentary plan or together with any other offer; with temporary or disposable email addresses; or to accounts that are restricted or under review. We may limit it to one per household or internet connection and set a daily limit; if today’s free ads are taken, you can try another day.
  • It includes up to two readings of your product page, up to two AI-written scripts and one render (with one more free try if a render fails on our side). It carries a visible “Made with QikTools” watermark, the AI-generated label and Content Credentials, which you must not remove, crop out or obscure. You may otherwise use it like any other output under these Terms. To get the ad without the watermark, make the final ad at our normal price.
  • The rules for creator ads apply: before it is made you confirm that its claims are true and that you can back them up, and that you have the rights to the photos and logo used. The presenter is a fictional AI creator: never present it as a real person, customer or reviewer.
  • The free first ad has no cash value: it isn’t credits and can’t be exchanged, transferred (including to a team), combined with other offers, or used through the API.
  • We may change, pause or end the offer at any time without notice, and refuse or withdraw it where we reasonably suspect abuse. Creating extra accounts, using disposable addresses, automation or any other way around these limits to get more than one free ad is abuse: we may close every account involved and remove anything obtained through it.
  • To keep the offer to one per person, we keep a one-way fingerprint of your email address and keyed fingerprints of the networks you signed up and claimed from (see the Privacy Policy).

28.Plans, payments and taxes

Plans are billed monthly or yearly at the prices on our pricing page, which also shows what each plan includes. You authorise recurring charges for your plan until you cancel.

Who sells to you depends on the currency you pay in.

  • In Indian rupees, you buy from us. Sarthak Daruka, trading as QikTools, is the seller of a plan, team seats or credits priced in rupees. The payment is processed by our payment gateway, Razorpay (Razorpay Software Private Limited), under its own terms for the payment itself; it is not a reseller. We issue your receipt and handle questions about your purchase and any refund.
  • In US dollars, you buy from our payment partner. Dodo Payments acts as reseller and merchant of record for a purchase priced in US dollars: it processes your payment, charges and pays the sales tax, VAT or GST that applies, issues your receipt and answers questions about the payment itself, under its own buyer terms.

Either way, your use of QikTools is governed by these Terms, and both are listed on the Third-Party Processors page. Where a purchase is processed by a card processor instead (for example some team plans), we are the seller and the processor handles the payment for us. We never see or store your full card number, UPI PIN or bank login.

  • Prices are shown in US dollars or, where we offer it, in Indian rupees. You choose the currency with the $ / ₹ switch where you pick a plan or buy credits, such as the pricing page; in India we show rupees first, and you can switch to US dollars at any time before you pay. Rupee prices are our own list prices, not a conversion of the dollar prices, so the two can differ. The payment methods available to you are shown at checkout. Your bank may add its own currency or card fees, and we don’t guarantee any exchange rate.
  • No GST on rupee prices. QikTools is not registered for GST, so no GST is added to rupee prices: the rupee price shown is the total you pay, and your receipt says that no GST was charged. If we register for GST, rupee prices will show GST from then on, and any change to the price of a plan you already have follows the price-change rule below.
  • US dollar prices don’t include taxes. Our payment partner adds any sales tax, VAT or GST that applies where you live and shows you the total before you pay. Where consumers expect prices with tax included (for example in the EU, the UK and Australia), our pricing shows each dollar price with the standard rate of the country you appear to be in already added, and the price before tax beside it; the total on the payment page, worked out from your billing details, is the one you pay. If you appear to be in Switzerland or Liechtenstein, we also show an indicative amount in Swiss francs beside our US dollar prices, at the European Central Bank’s reference rate. It is for information only: you are charged in US dollars, the payment page shows the exact total before you pay, and your bank or card sets its own exchange rate.
  • A plan renews automatically at the end of each period, at its price plus any applicable tax, until you cancel. At checkout you agree to this separately, and we confirm it, with how to cancel, in the purchase email we send you.
  • Renewals in rupees are automatic payments under the Reserve Bank of India’s e-mandate rules: UPI AutoPay, or a card or bank mandate you set up in Razorpay’s payment window. You’re told before each automatic payment (by your bank, your UPI app or Razorpay). When a renewal paid by card or UPI is more than ₹15,000 (for example yearly Starter, Pro and Studio plans, and Teams and Agency plans), your bank asks you to approve each renewal: these plans still renew on their own, but the payment goes through only once you approve it. If you don’t, the renewal fails and we treat it as a failed payment (see the next point). If you stop the mandate in your UPI app or with your bank, the plan is cancelled and stays active until the end of the period you have paid for.
  • If a renewal payment fails, we or our payment partner will tell you and try again. We may pause paid features until the payment is made, but you keep your purchased credits.
  • If we change the price of your plan, we will email you 7 to 30 days before your first renewal at the new price, and you can cancel before it applies.
  • Changing plans. An upgrade starts straight away, and checkout shows exactly what you’ll pay before you confirm. A monthly upgrade, or a switch from monthly to a yearly plan of the same size or bigger, starts the new plan at its full price, and you keep the credits you already have. Downgrades, and switches from yearly to monthly, take effect at your next renewal. A plan change is charged in the currency of your current plan. On a US dollar plan, an upgrade from one yearly plan to a bigger one is charged less the unused part of your current year. On a rupee plan, a change is a new subscription that you approve in Razorpay’s payment window: an upgrade is paid there straight away, and a downgrade is approved now and first charged at your next renewal, when your current plan ends; an upgrade from one yearly plan to a bigger one takes effect at your next renewal. To move between US dollars and rupees, cancel and choose your next plan in the other currency when your current period ends.
  • Changing a team plan. The team’s owner, or a member whose role allows billing, can change the number of seats, or move between the Agency plans, from the Team page or the agency’s Billing page. As with a personal plan, you see the price before you confirm, and you pay in the currency of the team’s current plan. A change that costs more each month (for example more seats, or a bigger plan) starts a new month at the new plan’s full price as soon as the payment goes through, and the team keeps the credits it already has; the unused part of the old month isn’t credited back. For a rupee team plan, the change is a new subscription approved in Razorpay’s payment window, as above. A change that costs less (fewer seats, or a smaller plan) takes effect at the next renewal, and nothing is charged now. A team can’t have fewer seats than are in use (members, pending invitations and people waiting to sign in), or a smaller Agency plan than its client workspaces and custom portal domain need. Moving between the Teams plan and an Agency plan is done by our support team on request.

29.Cancelling and renewal reminders

Cancel any time in Settings → Subscription, in a couple of clicks, with no call or email needed (team owners cancel in Team settings). Cancelling stops the next renewal. Your plan and its credits stay available until the end of the period you have paid for, and you can resume the plan until then — except a plan paid in rupees, which can’t be resumed once cancelled because your bank’s mandate for it closes (you can choose a plan again when the period ends). For a yearly plan, the monthly credit instalments continue until the paid year ends.

We email you before every renewal of a personal plan: about 2 days before a monthly renewal and 30 to 40 days before a yearly one. Each reminder states your plan, its price in the currency you pay in, and how to cancel. Team plans renew monthly; the price is shown in Team settings, and the next renewal date there too (for a US dollar plan, in the billing portal it links to).

30.Refunds and your right of withdrawal

Payments are final once made, including when you cancel a plan later in the period, except in these cases, where we refund you to your original payment method (through Razorpay for a rupee payment, or through our payment partner for a US dollar payment):

  • we charged you in error, for example a duplicate payment or the wrong amount;
  • the Service was deficient in a way we could not fix within a reasonable time, for example credits or plan features you paid for were not delivered;
  • we close QikTools or materially reduce a paid plan, as these Terms describe;
  • the law gives you a right to a refund that can’t be waived.

Refunds are made in the currency you paid in. If your bank converts a refund into another currency, the amount you receive can differ from what you paid because of exchange rates and bank fees, which we don’t control.

Right of withdrawal. If you are a consumer in the European Union, the European Economic Area or the United Kingdom, or in another country with a similar law, you normally have 14 days to withdraw from an online purchase. Because QikTools delivers credits and access immediately, checkout asks you to confirm that you want us to start straight away and that you understand you lose that right once the credits are delivered. How this works, and what happens if you didn’t give that confirmation, is explained in the Cancellation & Refund Policy.

Failed runs are refunded automatically, in credits, to the balance they came from, except a provider-charged safety refusal (see Provider safety refusals). A run that doesn’t finish — for example because our servers restart or stop while it is running — is refunded in the same way, automatically and only once, usually within about 20 minutes and without you having to ask; if its result arrives after that refund, it isn’t delivered and nothing is charged again.

If the exact same paid request reaches us twice within a few seconds, the second copy isn’t charged. For the Developer API, send an Idempotency-Key to make retries safe (see Developer API).

31.Developer API

  • API access is available on the plans shown on the Developers page. It is billed in credits like the app, and these Terms and the AI & Acceptable Use Policy apply to every request.
  • Keep keys secret and on your server. Revoke a key at once if it may have leaked. You are responsible for all use of your keys.
  • If you send an Idempotency-Key header, a request repeated with the same key and the same body within 24 hours returns the first response and isn’t charged again; the same key with a different body is refused. A request refused before it was charged doesn’t use up its key.
  • If you give API results to your own users, you are responsible for their use. You must tell them when content, including a voice, is AI-generated, and you must keep our labels and metadata intact. If those results come from a model marked “Powered by Runway” in our API docs, your app must show “Powered by Runway” prominently with a link to runway.com, and your users must accept terms at least as protective of our AI providers as ours.
  • Don’t use the API to offer raw access to our AI models as a service of your own, to resell access, or to build a competing AI service without our written agreement. Respect the documented rate limits. We may suspend keys that are abused.

32.Other services and platforms

QikTools works with third-party services: AI model providers, sign-in providers, storage, email and our payment partners. It can also prepare content for platforms such as Instagram, TikTok, YouTube, X, LinkedIn and Facebook, where you do the posting. When you choose to connect an account (a YouTube channel, or a Meta, TikTok or Google Ads account), we work with it only as the Video Dubbing Autopilot and Winning Ads Loop sections above describe. Each of these services has its own terms, which apply to your use of it. We are not responsible for third-party services, and a platform’s decision to limit or remove your content is between you and that platform. When a platform offers an AI-content label, switch it on for AI-generated content.

33.Official channels

Our official channels

www.qiktools.com is our only website. Pages, apps or messages using our name anywhere else — other than the checkout and sign-in pages we send you to from our site — aren’t ours and may be fraudulent. We’ll never ask for your password or card details by email, chat or phone.

  • When you pay, you use the secure checkout of our payment partners — Razorpay’s payment window, which opens on our site, for rupees, and Dodo Payments’s checkout (or Stripe for some team plans) for US dollars — which shows our name and the plan you chose. That checkout is the only place you ever enter card, UPI or bank details.
  • If you choose to sign in with Google, Microsoft or your organisation’s single sign-on, you sign in on that provider’s own page.
  • Apart from those checkout and sign-in pages, which you reach from our site, if a page, app, message or account uses our name and isn’t on www.qiktools.com, don’t enter any details. Tell us at hello@qiktools.com or with the report form.

34.Storage, projects and files

We keep your projects so you can return to them. On the Free plan, projects that haven’t been edited for 15 days are deleted automatically. Projects on paid plans, on active teams and with scheduled posts are kept. You can delete projects, and your account, at any time.

Generated files are hosted by our AI and media providers, and some providers delete them after a period, in some cases about 7 days. Download or save to your library anything you want to keep. Unless a file is saved to your library or your private storage, we don’t promise it will stay available. How we handle personal data is explained in the Privacy Policy.

Saving a file to your Library (or letting us copy it when you export it, share it or use it in a campaign, which you can switch off in your Library) keeps our own copy in your private storage, up to the allowance of your plan; a team on a paid team plan shares one allowance. When your storage is full we stop adding copies. We don’t delete your saved files because your storage is full or your plan changed, but we may ask you to free space (or upgrade) before you add more.

35.Suspension, termination and ending the agreement

You may stop using QikTools and delete your account at any time in Settings. Deleting your account cancels any personal subscription straight away. Your remaining credits and plan time end with it, unless the law requires a refund.

We may refuse a request, remove or disable content, limit features, or suspend or close an account if you break these Terms, if you create legal risk or risk of harm for us or others, if you don’t pay, if we suspect fraud, or if the law or a court or government order requires it. Where reasonable, we give notice first. We always tell you what we did and why, and how to appeal, unless the law or a safety reason stops us. Accounts that create child sexual abuse material or intimate imagery of a real person, or that use QikTools for fraud or impersonation, are closed immediately. For other breaches we follow the three-strikes rule in the Report & Takedown Policy.

If we close your account for a breach, your purchased credits and remaining plan time are not refunded, except where the law requires. If we close QikTools entirely, or close your account for another reason that isn’t your fault, we will give you at least 30 days’ notice where we can, and refund the unused months of any yearly plan and any purchased credits you haven’t used.

India’s IT Rules require us to remind you regularly of these rules. At least every three months we will remind you, by email or in the app, that we can suspend or close accounts and remove content that breaks them, and that misuse can lead to penalties under the law.

Parts of these Terms that by their nature should continue after the agreement ends (ownership, liability, indemnity, disputes) continue.

36.Cooperation with victims and the authorities

We preserve the records of removed content — what it was, where it was, which account made it and our decision — for at least 180 days, with a copy of the content where we hold one (never child sexual abuse material, which we report instead), or longer if a court or authority asks us to. Where the law requires or allows it, we may preserve and disclose information about you and your content, including your identity, to law enforcement, a court, a government authority, or a person who complains that your content harms them. We may also do so to prevent serious harm to someone. We report offences we are required to report, for example child sexual abuse material under India’s Protection of Children from Sexual Offences Act, 2012.

37.Disclaimers

The Service and all outputs are provided “as is” and “as available”. To the fullest extent the law allows, we disclaim all warranties, express or implied, including merchantability, fitness for a particular purpose, accuracy and non-infringement. We don’t control third-party AI models or platforms, and we don’t promise that outputs will be accurate, lawful to use for your purpose, or free of other people’s rights. Nothing in these Terms limits rights you have as a consumer that the law says can’t be excluded.

38.Limitation of liability

To the fullest extent the law allows, we are not liable for indirect, incidental, special, consequential or punitive damages, or for lost profits, revenue, data, goodwill or business opportunities, arising from the Service or these Terms.

Our total liability for all claims relating to the Service or these Terms is limited to the greater of (a) the amount you paid for QikTools in the 12 months before the event that gave rise to the claim, and (b) US$100.

These limits don’t apply to liability for fraud or wilful misconduct, for death or personal injury caused by negligence, or to any other liability, including your statutory rights as a consumer, that the law doesn’t allow to be limited. They protect us, the individual running QikTools, any successor to the business, and our providers.

39.Your responsibility to us

To the extent the law allows, you agree to defend us and our providers, and to compensate us for claims, losses, damages, fines and costs (including reasonable legal fees) brought by anyone else that arise from:

  • your inputs, including faces, voices, likenesses, trademarks and copyrighted material you upload or describe;
  • a consent or rights confirmation you gave that was untrue or incomplete;
  • outputs you publish, post, sell or use;
  • your breach of these Terms or the AI & Acceptable Use Policy, or of any law or anyone’s rights;
  • the use of the Service through your account, your team or your API keys, including by your own users.

We will tell you promptly about a claim, and let you take part in the defence at your own cost. If you use QikTools as a consumer, this applies only where the claim results from your breach or fault.

40.Changes to these terms

We may update these Terms as the Service or the law changes. The date and version are shown at the top. For material changes we will tell you at least 15 days before they take effect, by email or in the app, and ask you to accept the new version when you next sign in. Changes needed to comply with the law or to keep people safe can apply sooner. If you don’t agree, you can cancel before the change applies, and if it materially disadvantages you on a yearly plan, we will refund the unused months. Until you accept a new version, we may stop you from starting new paid runs on the website (nothing is charged when we do); your account, saved work and credits stay as they are, and you can still sign out, download your data or close your account. Requests made with a Developer API key are covered by the version you accepted when you created the key.

41.Notices

We send notices to the email address on your account or show them in the app. Send notices to us at hello@qiktools.com. Electronic notices count as being in writing.

42.Governing law and disputes

These Terms are governed by the laws of India. Before starting a formal dispute, please contact the Grievance Officer so we can try to resolve it; we answer within 7 days and aim to settle disputes within 30 days.

  • Consumers keep their local rights. If you are a consumer in India, you can bring a complaint before the Consumer Commission where you live or work. If you are a consumer elsewhere, you keep the protection of the mandatory laws of the country where you live and can bring a claim in its courts. Anyone may bring an individual claim in a small-claims court that has jurisdiction.
  • Courts. Otherwise, and subject to the next point, the courts at Asansol, West Bengal have exclusive jurisdiction.
  • Arbitration for business disputes. A dispute with a business customer (for example over a team plan or API use), and any other dispute that isn’t a consumer dispute, will be resolved by arbitration under India’s Arbitration and Conciliation Act, 1996, administered by the Mumbai Centre for International Arbitration (MCIA) under its rules in force when the arbitration starts. There will be a sole arbitrator appointed under those rules, and never by either of us alone. The seat of arbitration is Asansol, West Bengal, the language is English, and hearings are held online unless the arbitrator decides otherwise. Either of us may ask a court for urgent interim relief, for example an injunction to protect intellectual property or personality rights, and we may claim unpaid fees in court.

Nothing in these Terms shortens the time the law gives you to bring a claim.

43.General

  • These Terms are the entire agreement between you and us about the Service, and replace any earlier version you accepted.
  • If any part can’t be enforced, the rest remains in effect. If we don’t enforce a right straight away, we don’t give it up.
  • Successor. We may assign or novate these Terms to any company or limited liability partnership that succeeds to the QikTools business, on notice to you. Your rights under these Terms will not be reduced by the transfer. You may not transfer these Terms without our written consent.
  • We are not responsible for delays or failures caused by events beyond our reasonable control, such as outages at our providers.
  • Nothing in these Terms creates a partnership, agency or employment relationship between you and us.
