How to use AI Reel Maker
Full step-by-step guideStep 1: Describe your idea
In “What's your reel about?”, say what you're showing and to whom, such as launching a new cold brew on a busy morning. Pick a “Vibe”, from “Energetic” to “Behind the scenes”.
Step 2: Choose the format
Under “Format”, pick “Narrated” (a voiceover over your shots), “Talking presenter” (your subject speaks to camera, lip-synced) or “Music only” (visuals, captions and a soundtrack).
Step 3: Edit the storyboard
Check the “Hook”, then each shot: “What happens on screen”, the camera move, the “On-screen caption” and the voiceover or spoken line. Reorder or remove shots, and describe or generate the music.
Step 4: Render the shots
Press “Render my reel” to render every shot; the estimate is shown first. Each shot is marked “Rendered”, “Rendering…” or “Not rendered”, and you can render the rest later or edit a single shot.
Step 5: Finish and post
Under “Finish your reel”, “Open in Video Editor” for full editing, “Add captions & polish” for quick finishing, or “Download reel (MP4)”. “Copy caption” copies the post caption and hashtags.

Are videos made with AI Reel Maker labelled as AI?
When a result looks realistic, yes: an automatic check decides, and realistic videos get a visible “AI-generated” label (if the check can't run, the label is added anyway). Stylised results such as illustrations don't need one. Every file carries signed Content Credentials that anyone can check on the verification page, and removing labels or credentials isn't allowed.
What happens to my credits if a run fails in AI Reel Maker?
They go back automatically. The one exception: if a request passes our safety checks but the AI provider's own safety system refuses it and charges us for the attempt, the credits for that run are kept (Terms).
Who owns what I make with AI Reel Maker, and what happens to my data?
You own your inputs and, as far as the law and our AI providers' terms allow, what you create, including for commercial use. QikTools doesn't sell your data or train AI models on your content; some AI providers' own terms let them use what they receive (Privacy Policy). Settings → Profile has Download my data and Delete account, which removes your account, projects and uploads.
