Alt text, captions and audio description — built around WCAG 2.1 AA, reviewed by you.
Accessibility Studio makes pictures and videos accessible: alt text for one picture or hundreds, captions and transcripts with an editor, and audio description voiced into your video, plus free flashing and contrast checks and an accessibility statement generator. Every AI result is yours to review and edit before you publish.
Pick a mode at the top: Alt text, Captions, Audio description, Checks or Statement. Everything you do is saved in one project you can reopen from Projects.
Drop pictures, paste links (or a CSV with url, name and context columns), or pick from your Asset Brain. Say what they're for — product, marketing, editorial, link or button, chart, or decorative — add where they'll appear, choose up to five languages, then run the batch.
Drop a video or recording — only the speech is uploaded, compressed on your device. When the captions are back, fix names and timings in the editor, name the speakers, add sound tags like [music], and check the problem list (too fast, too long, overlapping).
Upload a video (up to 10 minutes). We find the pauses in the dialogue, look at the key moments and write descriptions that fit them. You only pay for the script at this point.
Check a video for flashing that can trigger seizures (every frame, WCAG 2.3.1), whether captions travel with it, and your caption file's quality. Check colour pairs — or your whole Brand Vault palette — for contrast, and get a text's reading level with optional plain-language rewrites.

See plans and credit pricesAlt text is priced per picture (charts cost a little more), captions by the length of the recording, translations by the amount of text, and audio description in two steps — the script by the video's length, then the voicing by the script's length (lines you've voiced before are reused free). The checks, the caption editor, the burned-in captions and the statement generator are free. Every price is shown before you run anything, and anything that fails is refunded automatically.
Every price is shown on the button before anything runs, and every plan pays the same number of credits for a run. If a run fails on our side, its credits go back automatically.
No. It covers the requirements for pictures and video, and you review everything before you publish; the studio alone doesn't make a website or app conformant. Your uploads stay private and are deleted automatically: as soon as the job that uses them ends, or by our daily clean-up once they are a day old.
The European Accessibility Act (EN 301 549, which points to WCAG 2.1 AA), India's Rights of Persons with Disabilities Act and GIGW guidelines, and the ADA in the US. Alt text covers WCAG 1.1.1, captions 1.2.2, audio description 1.2.5, the flash check 2.3.1 and the contrast checker 1.4.3 and 1.4.11.
Yes — everything is editable before you export: alt text, long descriptions, every caption's words and timing, speaker names, and every line of the audio-description script.
One mixes the description into the main sound, so it plays everywhere. The other keeps your original sound and adds a separate “Audio description” track viewers can switch on in players that support it (VLC, QuickTime and many TVs).
Pricing: alt text from 1 credit a picture · captions about 0.7 credits a minute · audio description about 5 credits a minute · checks and statements free. The descriptions are spoken by an AI voice, so audio-described videos carry a small “AI-generated” label and the description track on its own starts with a short spoken notice. Captions burned onto your own video aren't labelled. Every file carries signed Content Credentials that anyone can check on the verification page.
They go back automatically. The one exception: if a request passes our safety checks but the AI provider's own safety system refuses it and charges us for the attempt, the credits for that run are kept (Terms).
