Colorize and repair old family memories.
Old Photo Restorer brings old family photos back to life: it repairs scratches and tears, sharpens faces and restores colour, then lets you compare the result with the original on a slider. It works on scanned prints, faded snapshots and black-and-white pictures.
In “Your image”, drop it on the upload box, click to browse or paste it from your clipboard. Scratched, faded, torn and black-and-white photos all work; big files are resized for you.
Check the price above “Transform it”, then press it or Ctrl+Enter (⌘+Enter on a Mac). There's nothing else to set: the restorer decides what needs repairing.
Drag the slider across the result to see the before and after. Look closely at faces, hands and any writing.
“Edit in Design Studio” lets you crop, add a caption and download PNG, JPG or PDF. “Copy link” copies the file's address, and the library button adds it to your Social Library.

Every price is shown on the button before anything runs, and every plan pays the same number of credits for a run. If a run fails on our side, its credits go back automatically.
It restores colour as part of the repair. If you prefer the photo in black and white, the Design Studio's photo filters can take the colour back out.
It sharpens faces and fills in damage, which can re-draw small details. Compare with the slider, and try “Another take” if a face doesn't look right.

They go back automatically. The one exception: if a request passes our safety checks but the AI provider's own safety system refuses it and charges us for the attempt, the credits for that run are kept (Terms).
